- More art less plays.. Time to visit all those amazing popups and art institutions we have around LA plus it’s cheaper than plays. So first up the Titanic and ArtShare LA in January, then Frieze in February. That new art gallery in Caesars palace in May, dash of the Bruce exhibit at the Grammy, finally a schlep to the Getty Villa and well who knows what else will pop up this year.
- No more filtered water or bottled water. I drank Bronx tap water for most of my young life and if it was good enough for me it’s gonna be good enough for my kids. Well especially since my brand new fridge won’t allow us to change the filter. So unless any of us here turns orange in the next week or so, tap water it is cause I ain’t paying to have it fixed. Plus I’m pretty sure if you visit the Arrowhead factory, you will see a wall of nothing but faucets.
- No more weight loss/quit smoking resolutions.. The ship has sailed on the former and I completed the latter in 2010.
- To be more irritated.. I was close to accepting the total mediocrity of all things in our modern world but then I said, naaahhhh, much better to complain and try and fix some stuff.
- To continue in 2023 my newfound joy of doing all my morning errands and trips in my nightgown with a house dress thrown over it.. So comfortable and so efficient – no need to get dressed twice in one day if I have an evening event!
